I would rather kiss the ground... than kiss a star-less sky.

Revisiting The Artist's Way.  I cannot reiterate enough on how important this little book has been to me in my creative journey.  I just read The War of Art by Steven Pressfield as well and I have to say that it is the more direct, kick-in-the-pants approch to The Artist's Way for those of you who aren't ultra comfortable with the touchy-feely attributes of the latter. Creativity has been an unruly beast for me to ride.  I'm blessed/cursed with the "Jack of all trades, master of none" complex of a perpetual lack of focus, which has done more to do me in than self doubt, comparison and overblown ego combined.  Focus is the mystery ingredient, the one we cannot do without if we hope to make any breakthroughs. Without it, we invite stagnation, or like I have done, we wallow in it.  But I aim to put an end to this wallowing and embark on completion of a few short stories.  The idea being, if I can compile a beginning, middle and an end in the shorter forms, I
