Welcome to the Day of Irreverence
I was born on November 23rd, which is known to some as the Day of Irreverence during the Cusp of Revolution. This particular cusp is the joining between the period of the Sun in which it inhabits the constellation Scorpio, and when in traipses down the road to the archer Sir Sagittarian. The mythological being associated with the Scorpio-Sagittarian cusp is the Phoenix, and both the Caeltic and Native American "astrological" animals associated with this date line up with the Owl.
For this reason, you can expect this blog to contain a lot of
1) Philosophizing and
2) Imbuing the public with my copious Eureka! moments on life, probably realizing I'm more ignorant about most things than I thought, but probably a lot more human than I thought as well. Hopefully in a good way.
But one can never be too sure. There could be poetry, creative writing, cat pictures and artistic anecdotes.
I therefore invite you to read and participate in my outlet as freely as you wish; the only reason I started a blogger was that I began to feel my facebook notes were becoming overwhelming and possibly annoying to those who don't feel we should try to change the world through an inundation of the English language over facebook. But I have a lot to say, always, and writing is my favorite outlet. So enjoy if you will!

Edit: PS: OH and I should mention it will include lots of geekery, praise for Joss Whedon's imperceptibly clever screenwriting, Stephen King's admirable approachability, Miyazaki's adherance to a strict morality, Murakami's brazen disregard for explanation , correction of my malpropisms, critiques of film and literature and music, laments on my foraging ahead through fields of self-help writing books, extension of vocabulary, musings on geekery, geekery, geekery, and more geekery in the forms of comic books, zombies, steampunk, horror, xmen, regenerating time-travelling physicians, and why K.I.S.S. is the best motto ever (Keep it Simple Stupid).
Anyway. Hope you like it. And don't think it's too pretentious.
XOXOXO
Edit PPS: And even if you do think it's too pretentious, I hope it can at least provide entertainment.
